Autumn and Soccer...Year One - Ryan (2017)

The first sport that Autumn really wanted to try was soccer...I am 98 percent sure that was my first sport as well so I was game. I learned a few things very quickly: 

1. Autumn didn't like being near the ball. 
2. Autumn always smiled, even when she didn't understand what to do. 
3. Everyone gets a trophy :)

Baseball with Jack - Ryan (2017)

One of my favorite pictures is this picture of Jack. We were at a Rough Riders game as families. I brought a hat for Jack just in case he might like it. Admittedly, I was pretty excited about it... Jack is brilliant (as are his sisters) - and I knew math was way in his wheelhouse...so I thought, I wonder if he may enjoy baseball from a statistician point of view? Answer... I can’t remember what we even talked about that day. After all, it wasn’t baseball that I remember or love about this picture. You see. As soon as I saw Jack I told him I brought him a hat. Jack smiled, and let me know he was so appreciative, but that he really didn't wear hats. Now, I TOTALLY got that. After all... A: His hair was looking great. B. Anyone who wears glasses knows its not always easy to have a hat on. So, he took the hat super happily and went to play with Sarah and Caroline.
