What's in a Name?

Where did "Team Rylie" come from?

When Ryan and I worked together, we basically ran the school.  Well, that's not fair.  There was a whole administrative team, and-- no, no-- it's fair.  We ran the school.

But we didn't run the school out of ego or selfish ambition.  It was actually Ryan's job to run the school, and-- as for me-- the other members of our team either lacked initiative or the ability to work well with others.

We were a pretty great duo.  He could be the "bad guy" and say the things that needed to be said, while I was the "nice counselor" who softened the blow.

When we would knock things out and get things done, we'd smile and say "#teamRylie"... because we're dorks and hashtags were a relatively new thing.

Flash forward 5 years...

We haven't worked together in a while.  Now we're on the brink of merging our families.  Some are McGlamerys.  Some are Steeles. We decided that our family would be a new, updated version of "#teamRylie".

No matter the last name or who the biological parents are... you're one of ours... you're on our team... we're on your team.
